Officers with the Avery County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a report of two women’s rings taken from a home in Linville.  The rings are worth several thousand dollars and the owner reports she is willing to pay a reward through High Country Crimestoppers for the return of the rings.  Anyone with information about the theft of the two rings can call the Avery County Sheriff’s Office at 828-733-2071 or the High Country Crimestoppers at 828-737-0125.  The Crimestoppers board regularly pays cash rewards to callers who provide information leading to the arrest of wanted persons, recovery of stolen property or seizure of illegal drugs.
