![]() The Hickory Crawdads wrapped up their with the Savannah Sand Gnats with a 5-3 win Sunday night at L.P. Frans Stadium. Despite the win, the Crawdads remain 1 1/2 games out of first place in the North Division of the South Atlantic League. The Crawdads wiped out a 2-1 deficit with a pair of runs in the bottom of the third. Nick Urbanus singled and moved to second base on a groundout. Zach Cone and Drew Robinson followed with consecutive two-out RBI singles, lifting the 'Dads back in front, 3-2. The Crawdads stretched the lead in the bottom of the fifth. With one out, Urbanus doubled his way into scoring position, and then moved to third on a passed ball. Trever Adams singled scoring Urbanus to make it 4-2. The Crawdads added another run in the bottom of the sixth. Jorge Alfaro led off the inning with a solo home run over the left-center field wall, increasing the Hickory lead to 5-2.
