Watauga High Athletics Director and football coach Tom Wright as announced that Friday's scheduled scrimmage game between the Pioneers and Mount Airy has been canceled because of inclement weather. The scrimmage has

been rescheduled for Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m. at Jack Groce Stadium.
"The weather forecast doesn't look very favorable for tonight," Wright said. "So we've decided to move the scrimmage to tomorrow morning."
The Pioneers open the regular-season at A.C. Reynolds next Friday night, August 17. Coverage begins at 6:30 p.m. on Oldies 100.7 FM.
