Yesterday morning, officers with the Avery County Sheriff’s Office recovered stolen property from a breaking and entering that occurred in Elk Park.  As a result of the recovery and follow up investigation, a warrant for 21 year old Calvin Cook of Elk Park has been issued. Cook is also said to be wanted for a felony probation violation.  The Avery Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone who knows the whereabouts of Calvin Cook to contact the Avery County Sheriff’s Office or Crimestoppers.  A recent mug shot is on GoBlueRidge.net.
