Tommie Joe Booher, age 38 of Sugar Grove, was arrested yesterday and was charged with one count of felony larceny of a motor vehicle. Booher is alleged to have stolen a vehicle from the parking lot of Wal-Mart in Boone on June 6th. Mr. Booher was arrested on a Boone Police Department warrant by the Watauga Sheriff’s Department after receiving a tip on his whereabouts.   Booher was taken before a Watauga County Magistrate and was issued a court date of 08-28-2012 and was held on a $6,500.00 secured bond.
