A Monday afternoon fire damaged a bedroom of a mobile home in Bradford Trailer Park while five of the eight residents were home, including children. Boone Fire said Melissa Santiago was cooking in the kitchen at one end of the trailer when the fire was discovered in the back bedroom of the residence around 4:35 yesterday afternoon. Boone Fire rushed to the 103 Beck Court residence as the five family members home at the time fled the fire, the blaze quickly contained and damage limited to the back bedroom area. The cause was still being determined late yesterday.
