![]() Jeremy Dowdy had another strong showing for the Bristol White Sox of the Rookie Appalachian League Sunday night. Dowdy had three hits and threw out a base runner Sunday night as the White Sox beat the Johnson City Cardinals 6-0 in Bristol, Va. Dowdy, who signed a free agent contract with the Chicago White sox after he selected in the Major League Baseball Draft, is batting .467 in four appearances this season. He has seven hits in his 15 professional at bats. He has two doubles and a triple among his seven hits. He's also driven in two runs.
