![]() Well, for Ryan Arrowood, it was just like slipping on a pair of comfortable shoes. The right hander from Appalachian State University, made his professional baseball debut Tuesday afternoon for the Tri-City Dust Devils of the Northwest League, and the Class A (short-season) affiliate of the Colorado Rockies. Arrowood, who was selected by the Rockies in the 28th round of the Major League Baseball Draft on June 6, made his first career start at the professional level and went four innings. He had a no-decision, but the opportunity certainly wasn't wasted.
