NC Highway 194 North was closed in the Lansing area due to a traffic accident that reportedly involved a fatality.  The call came in just after 6pm of an accident in front of the Country House Restaurant involving a motorcycle, and within minutes, medical personnel on the scene confirmed a fatality and indicated there were other vehicles involved.  Fire units closed off the road to preserve the scene for the State Patrol investigation.  Traffic was diverted onto Deep Ford Road, with an extended time frame for the closure due to the investigation.
