Boone Police have charged Corwyn David Sergent, age 29, with felony first degree burglary, felony larceny after breaking and entering, felony identity theft and misdemeanor violation of a domestic violence protection order. This was subsequent to an investigation into a break-in at a Brown Heights apartment reported on May 19, 2012. Mr. Sergent was arrested on June 4, 2012 and was taken before a Watauga County Magistrate who issued a $75,000.00 secured bond. Mr. Sergent has a court date scheduled for July 26, 2012 in Watauga County.
