| Storm Finishes Season On Strong Note |

![]() The Watauga Storm eighh-grade, 14-and-under boys basketball team ended its season with a third-place finish at the Division One/YBOA State Tournament in Morganton, N.C.. Their only loss came against last year's national championship team, Rick's Ballers, which is from Durham, N.C. But the Storm rebounded and defeated the Charlotte Jets, 66-44, in the third-place game. The Storm finishes the season with a 40-6 record, five tournament championships, three second place finishes, and two third place finishes. Team members includes, in row one from left to right, Nikolaus Sherman, Caleb Bryson, Holden Russell, Jacob Waldroop and Zack Valet. In row two, Coach Greg Russell, Levi Wilcox, Morgan Mckay, Aaron Dobbins, Dillon Carmichael, Coach David Isaacs. Not pictured Caleb Zimmerman.
