Watauga High School is sending eleven students to Governor’s School this summer. The students were selected base on their performance for the state’s program for the academically gifted.
Nic Callahan, Jonathan Carroll, Brandon Combs, Nathan Moody, Jonathan Shine, Ian Dale, Macey Johnson, Catey Gonzales, Alex Placentra, Hanna Reese and Kevin Rynn will join almost 800 other students from across the state to spend six weeks this summer on study intensives in their areas of specialty. The Governor’s School takes place in Winston-Salem.
