Appalachian State University has become the latest school to partner with IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions to increase attendance and revenues generated from athletic events as well as choice and convenience when fans purchase tickets. The school will be serviced from the IMG Learfield Ticket
Solutions National Sales Center in Winston-Salem. Sales efforts will be focused on football and men’s and women’s basketball. A new account executive will be brought on board to work solely on this project from the National Sales Center, which also services the University of Richmond.
Appalachian State is a partner of IMG College in multimedia rights and sponsorship sales.
“IMG has grown our sponsorship dollars considerably year after year and we look forward to expanding our partnership with IMG and seeing the same results with IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions,” said Charlie Cobb, Director of Athletics, Appalachian State University. “This partnership provides us with new resources we believe will help reach more Mountaineer fans throughout the High Country and the state of North Carolina.”
“Appalachian State boasts the highest attendance in FCS football and the school’s program continues to grow and gain national attention,” said Matt DiFebo, VP and Managing Partner for IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions. “We believe there is a strong opportunity to continue growing the school’s fan base and generate additional revenue through ticket sales and building relationships with their fans while providing enhanced customer service.”
