 Quarterback Nate Montana, the son of National Football League Hall of Famer Joe Montana, has announced he is transferring from the University of Montana to an NCAA Division II program in West Virginia. Montana, who has one year
of eligibility left, wants more playing time. He was a backup quarterback for the Grizzlies last season and played in eight games. Montana transferred to Montana from the University of Notre Dame last season. Montana is transferring to West Virginia Wesleyan, a Division II school in Buckhannon, WV. The Grizzlies travel to Boone to play Appalachian State on Saturday, September 8. |
