The Avery County Sheriff’s Office issued a bulletin yesterday on a possibly abducted 16-year old girl after the teen made contact with her mother leaving a Pineola motel.  The bulletin said that the teen was with a man, described as an on-line predator, and was issued just after noon for a 2000 Chevrolet Cavalier driven by a Pennsylvania man, said be on its way to Ashe County.  Area lawmen searched several areas along the route, including fast food restaurants, but just after 1, the pair were found in Avery County and stopped by lawmen. Just where the investigation lead them past that point, and there has been no release on the matter or charges.
