Appalachian Rollergirls (ARG) will be hosting their first home bout "GERLEFEST,"of their second season in Boone NC on April 28th at 5:00 pm at the Holmes Convocation Center.  ARG is Boone's first and only local female Rollerderby team.  The girls will be bouting against the B-Dazzlers of Charlotte NC. A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit Watauga Humane Society.
Tickets  for "Gerlefest" are $10 in advance, $12 game day.  ASU and Caldwell students tickets are $5 with student ID.  Fans ages 12 and under are free!  Tickets can be purchased online at www.theholmescenter.com.  Retail locations offering tickets in advance are: Black Cat Buritto, Lucky Penny and Boone Drug at Deerfield.
