The Ashe County sheriff’s Office is credited with playing a role in the arrests of two men jailed under million dollar bonds—men who face charges after a methamphetamine investigation in Yadkin County.
Armando Rios, 36, of Burlington and Hugo Madrigal, 36, of Reidsville were arrested after a seven-month long investigation, according to WXII-TV. Rios and Madrigal were charged with conspiring to traffic in methamphetamines, and will appear in court April 17. Both are being held in the Yadkin County Detention Center on a $1 million bond. The Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office said the Yadkinville Police Department and special agents with the Department of Homeland Security, SBI and Ashe County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the investigation. |
