Melissa MacKinnon, owner of Woof Pack Pet Services, is offering a Puppy Kindergarten Class and a Basic Obedience Class in the Watauga Humane Society’s Community Room, 312 Paws Way, Boone, NC 28607. At 6pm, beginning Tuesday, May 1st and continuing for 6 weeks, the Puppy Kindergarten Class (puppies from 4 months - 1 year in age), will focus on socialization, problem puppy behaviors, leash walking and 6 basic commands. At 7pm, beginning Tuesday, May 1st and continuing for 6 weeks, the Basic Obedience Class (dogs over 1 year in age), will focus on learning 12 basic commands with distraction and proper leash walking. 

These classes will be held on Tuesdays for 6 weeks: May 1st, 8th, 15th, 21st, 29th and June 5th. The Puppy Kindergarten Class will be held at 6pm, the Basic Obedience Class will be held at 7pm.

Cost is $175 for either class, discounted to $150 if your puppy or dog was adopted from Watauga Humane Society. A generous portion of proceeds goes to the care and shelter of animals at the Watauga Humane Society.
