Watauga County Crimestoppers and Boone Police seek the public’s assistance in solving the following crime: On the night of Wednesday October 19th at approximately 10:20 p.m., two men stole scrap metal from behind the Custom Muffler business on the NC Hwy 105 extension in Boone.

A dark colored Honda sedan, occupied by one white male and one black male, was captured on surveillance video.  The video shows the men placing brake rotors and other parts in the Honda’s trunk before leaving.
