A worker fell about 35 feet yesterday at a construction site in the Bishop’s Ridge Development between Boone and Blowing Rock.

Emergency Services personnel responded to a call at about 11am yesterday morning that the man, who remains unnamed, had fallen from the roof of a house under construction. He was taken by EMS to Tweetsie Railroad where he was air lifted to Johnson Medical Center. As of yesterday afternoon, he was listed in stable condition.
