Appalachian State field hockey senior Kelly Allaband was named NorPac East Offensive Player of the Week and freshman Dana Wetmore was named NorPac East Rookie of the Week for the second-straight week on Monday by the Northern Pacific Field Hockey Conference.

Allaband scored her first two goals of the season in the Mountaineers first win of the season. Her four points helped lead ASU to its first win at Radford in school history.
Wetmore recorded the game-winning assist in the Mountaineers historic victory at Radford.  She tabbed her second goal of the season in the Mountaineers 4-3 setback to Robert Morris.
This is the fifth-consecutive week that an ASU freshman has been named East Rookie of the Week.  Jessi Stuart earned the honor the week of August 28 and Brooke Angellella received the honor the week of September 4 and Sept. 11.
ASU will take its undefeated conference record to the weekend, as they play host to conference foes Radford on Friday at 7:45 p.m. and Longwood on Sunday at 1 p.m.
