With an influx of vehicles expected on and around Appalachian State University's campus Saturday due to ASU's annual Open House and a 36th-consecutive over-capacity crowd for that evening's Mountaineer football showdown versus Savannah State at Kidd Brewer Stadium,
Appalachian athletics will operate a park-and-ride from the old Watauga County High School beginning at 3 p.m. (three hours prior to the 6 p.m. kickoff at The Rock).ASU FOOTBALL PARK-AND-RIDE AT OLD WATAUGA H.S. • SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 17
• Shuttle buses will run between the old Watauga H.S. (400 High School Drive, Boone, NC 28607) and Kidd Brewer Stadium from 3 p.m.-10:30 p.m.
• Shuttles will drop off and pick up fans as close to the KBS east gate as possible.
• No tailgating will be permitted at old WHS.
• Cost: $5 per vehicle
***NOTE: DUE TO OPEN HOUSE, ALL ON-CAMPUS PARKING LOTS WILL NOT OPEN UNTIL 1 P.M.***
