The 1st-Half Northern Division Champion Hickory Crawdads topped Major League RHP Stephen Strasburg and the Hagerstown Suns, 3-1, before 1,652 fans at Municipal Stadium in Hagerstown on Monday night.

The Crawdads (72-52, 32-24) struck right away against Strasburg (L, 0-1), who made a rehab start, in the top of the first inning. Jurickson Profar was hit by a pitch and swiped second base; Tomas Telis drove him in one out later with an RBI single that gave Hickory a 1-0 lead.
Will Lamb (1-0), who picked up his first win of the year, held the Suns hitless (70-56, 30-26) through the fourth inning. Jason Martinson of the Suns broke up the no-hitter with a double to start the bottom of the fifth, but Lamb got out of the inning without giving up a run.
The 'Dads stretched the lead with an unearned run against Strasburg in the third inning. Odubel Herrera singled his way on and quickly stole second base. One out later, Herrera raced in on a throwing error by shortstop Jason Martinson. Hickory added another run in the fourth. Alejandro Selen ripped McCatty's first pitch inside the left-field line for a lead-off double. Josh Richmond walked, and following a double steal, Jonathan Roof drove in Selen with a sacrifice fly.
Trailing 3-0, the Suns got on the board with a solo homer by Adrian Sanchez in the bottom of the sixth. Francisco Mendoza of the crawdads pitched out of a jam in the ninth and picked up his fourth save.
NOTES: The Crawdads continue a four-game road trip to Hagerstown on Tuesday at 7:05 p.m.
