Five people were in a vehicle that rolled completely over early Saturday morning in Valle Crucis, one of the occupants ejected from the car, suffering compound fractures to his arm and other injuries. Trooper Brown said that the vehicle was in a curve on Broadstone Road near Bluestone Wild
when the driver lost control, crossed the center line, struck a guardrail, a tree, flipped completely over and landed back on its wheels. Medics rushed one or two of the injured to Watauga Medical Center while Trooper Brown charged the driver with DWI, an unsafe movement, Left of Center, and Careless & Reckless driving in the 1:20am wreck. |
