Thursday's game suspended, DH Friday PDF Print

Thursday's scheduled game between the Hickory Crawdads and the Lexington Legends at L.P. Frans Stadium has been suspended due to inclement weather and impending lightning and thunderstorms.

Thursday's nine-inning game will be resumed on Friday in the bottom of the first inning at 4 p.m., followed by a seven-inning game that will start at 7:15 p.m., before Friday Night Fireworks after all the action on the field!
After a 23-minute rain delay before the First Pitch on Thursday, the game made it to the bottom of the first inning with one on and no outs for the Crawdads, before the rain began again and the umpires called for another rain delay.  After an hour in the second delay, the umpires officially suspended the game until Friday, when it will resume at 4 p.m. in the exact situation in which is was suspended Thursday night.
NOTES: Friday Night Fireworks after second game of doubleheader!
