![]() Madison Bumgarner picked up his seventh win of the year Tuesday night, and he barely broke a sweat. Bumgarner went seven innings, scattered four hits, walked one and struck out ten as the San Francisco Giants defeated Pittsburgh 6-0 at AT&T Park. The lefthander was one strikeout shy of his career high, which came against Cleveland June 26.The win also kept the Giants (64-53) in sole possession of first place in the National League West. The Arizona Diamondbacks, whio trail the Giants by one-half gamef the top spot in the NL West, defeated Houston 11-9 Tuesday night. With the win, Bumgarner improves to 7-11 on the year with a 3.53 earned-run-average. Bumgarner has 134 strikeouts in 145 1/3 innings. He's only given up 33 walks. Bumgarner's next scheduled start comes against the Florida Marlins Sunday in Miami.
