The offer is on the table at the moment.

Bruce Pearl, who was fired by the University of Tennessee last March after he lied to NCAA investigators concerning recruiting violations, has been offered a head coaching job by the Texas Legends of the NBA Development League. Reports say the position would pay Pearl $500,000 per season.
Pearl has yet to make a commitment. Pearl coached at Tennessee for six years. He led the Vols to 231 wins and six NCAA Tournament appearances. His 2009-10 team won 28 games and reached the Elite Eight. Pearl, who has never coached at the professional level, has won 548 games in his 19-year career at the collegiate level at Southern Indiana, the University of Milwaukee and Tennessee.
