Two women were injured in a 4:30pm crash on NC 105 in Boone yesterday, as three vehicles slammed into each other in a chain-reaction wreck.  The crash occurred in the left northbound lane of N.C. 105 across from Bandana's as one vehicle stopped to turn at the Highland Avenue intersection. A Chevy Blazer hit the back of a Honda Accord, which also hit the back of a Chevy Cavalier in front of it. The women driving the Cavalier and the Accord were taken by ambulance to Watauga Medical Center, while the driver and passengers of the Blazer did not appear to be injured. One of the drivers told Boone police about a brake problem, but whether that was the catalyst of the crash has not been released by Boone Police.  Watauga Medics upgraded to emergency response on their way to Watauga Medical Center with the two women, said to have been suffering mostly neck pain from the crash.
