Wilkinson Named All-America PDF Print

Alexander Central pitcher Chelsea Wilkinson has been named a first-team All-America by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.


Wilkinson, a rising senior who will has made a verbal committment to attend North Carolina State following her prep career with the Cougars, won 31 games last spring and struck out 370 batters. Those numbers led Alexander Central to its seventh state championship in school history.
Wilkinson was one of three North Carolina named to the first team on the NFCA High School All-America squad. The others were catcher Robyn Stanek of North Davidson, which lost to Alexander Central in the Class 4A state championship game, and catcher Sarah Mooney of North Mecklenburg.
Wilkinson is a three-time All-America.
