Watauga National Eliminated PDF Print

The Watauga National 11-12-year-old softball team from eliminated from the District 7 tournament Monday night.

Wilkes County defeated Watauga National 14-0 at Memorial Park in Wilkesboro to win the District 7 title. Wilkes County advances to the state tournament in Forest City, NC this weekend.
The 11-12-year-old Little League All-Star Tournament continues tomorrow night with a pair of games. The Watauga National team takes on Morganton at Catawba Meadows at 5 pm. If Watauga National wins, it would play in the Distrtict 7 finals Monday, July 18. But if Watauga National loses, it would play an elimination game Saturday.
Watauga American travels to Wilkesboro to play Wilkes American Tuesday night in an elimination game at Memorial Park. If Watauga American wins, it would play again on Thursday night.
