Appalachian State University has announced that this year’s spring graduation will take place May 5th and 6th. Each degree-granting college or school will hold their own ceremony.
Speakers include State Rep. Cullie Tarleton, Google Global Operations Director Lloyd Taylor, Music Director of the Winston-Salem Symphony Robert Moody, and US Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Stephen Johnson. Graduation promises to bring plenty of parents and family members to Boone. About 1,375 students will receive their degrees in those ceremonies.
