The driver of a four-wheeler critically hurt as the cycle flipped over late Saturday afternoon has been identified by the Watauga Sheriff’s Office—and has died, according to a spokesman for the Johnson City Medical Center.  30-year old Kenneth William Isaacs was riding on private property at 259 Hicks Road in Sugar Grove, and there was found pinned underneath the overturned four-wheeler at about 5:30pm. Cove Creek first responders and firemen reached the Mountain City Tennessee man and found him not breathing and with a severe injury causing his airway to be blocked, but Watauga Medics arrived and the effort to clear the airway continued, getting the man breathing again, calling for WINGS to respond to transport the man to Johnson City Medical Center.  Isaacs was airlifted from the ball field behind the Ruritan Club and this afternoon word from the Johnson City Medical Center indicates that Kenneth William Isaacs died from his injuries.  The WCSO report indicated that no one witnessed the accident.
