Two injuries came from a 9:15am accident today on US 321 near the Blue Ridge Parkway bridge.  The collision involved two Subaru wagons, the driver of the white Subaru possibly suffering a health issue that led to the accident, according to Trooper Zachary Jennings, investigating for the Highway Patrol. Two from that car, driver David Trivette, 56 as well as his passenger, 51-year-old William Winebarger, both of Boone, were taken to the hospital, according to Jennings. The driver of the red Subaru, 19-year-old Taylor Krivenki, of Granville, Ohio, said she wasn't injured in the collision. The two injured were transported by Watauga Medics—one emergency traffic—to Watauga Medical Center.  Traffic was stopped for a time for those traveling toward Blowing Rock before Blowing Rock Fire/Rescue managed to close off the center lanes and open the outer lane.  Traffic was stopped for a time for those traveling toward Blowing Rock before Blowing Rock Fire/Rescue managed to close off the center lanes and open the outer lane.
