Wednesday night's game between the Hickory Crawdads and the Asheville Tourists at Historic McCormick Field in Asheville was rained out.

The two teams won't face each other again until August 5, so Wednesday's rain out will not be rescheduled.
The Crawdads, who trail Hagerstown and Greensboro by one-half game for first place in the Northern Division of the South Atlantic League, close out the first half of the season with a four-game weekend series beginning Thursday night against the Charleston RiverDogs at L.P. Frans Stadium.
Thursday will be Thirsty Thursday, presented by Buffalo Wild Wings with $1 can beers and Pepsis!  Also, don't miss the post-game concert by Norva Jean Dreams!  Thursday will be NASCAR Night - wear a NASCAR t-shirt for a Half Off Ticket!  First pitch is at 7 p.m., gates open at 6 p.m.
