Two motorcyclists were injured in Sunday accidents in Watauga County. An accident just after noon injured the cyclist as a vehicle traveling US 321 went left of center and struck the cyclist near Aho Road.
Reports indicate that the cyclist suffered a broken ankle and was transported by Watauga Medics. Trooper Suttle investigated the accident.
A second motorcyclist was hurt in a 5:25pm accident on Howards Creek Road at Doe Ridge Road as 46-year old Kevin Pennington tried to remove a plastic bag that blew into his cycle. The state patrol said that he lost control of his cycle and crashed, causing a broken collar bone, according to the first responders on the scene.
