Madison Bumgarner threw another gem Saturday against the Colorado Rockies.

Unfortunately, his teammates failed to give him any run support as Coloardo nipped San Francisco 2-1 Saturday afternoon at AT&T Park. Bumgarner, who falls to 2-7 on the year, went seven innings and gave up two runs, one earned, on seven hits, he walked one and struck out six.
Bumgarner, who faced the minimum through four innings, is 0-3 with a 4.39 ERA in five home starts this season. Troy Tulowitzki backboned the Rockies with three hits, an RBI and he scored a run. The loss drops San Francisco into second place in the National League West. The Giants trail Arizona by one-half game for first place. The Diamondbacks blanked Washington 2-0 Saturday night. It was their second shutout in a row against the Nationals. Bumgarner, who has a 1.64 earned-run-average in his last eight appearances, is scheduled to start against Cincinnati on Thursday, June 9.
