A reminder for pet owners, the Watauga County Humane Society still has funds left to help those who’d like to have their pet spay neutered.

The grant program is part of an effort to reduce the number of unplanned pregnancies in area animals, which includes family pets, strays and ferals or barn cats. This is breeding season for animals….some animals, including cats can have a litter when they are as young as 4 months old. For more information, call the Watauga County Humane Society.
