The Boone Optimist Club is sponsering six to seven entries to compete in the Optimist Junior Golf Tournament.

The qualifying will be held at the Catawba Country Club in Newton on June 27. Anyone interested in playing may contact Watauga High golf coach Mike Northern at 719-9128. The deadline to register is June 3.
The qualifying is open to boys and girls from 10-18 years of age.
