Spruce Pine Benefit tonight |

Earlier this month, downtown Spruce Pine was consumed
by an alleged arson.
Tonight, locals are helping business owners- and encourage
you to do the same. A benefit fundraiser with music and dancing is being held
tonight at 7:30 p.m. at the Carolina Theatre in Spruce Pine. Money raised goes
to help the victims of the blaze that destroyed several businesses, a church,
and some apartments. A silent auction and raffle, as well as a $10 admission
cost, will help businessmen get back on their feet. For more information, call
