Appalachian State University football’s 2011 season opener at Virginia Tech will kick off at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 3 and be televised live by the ACC Network, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced this week.

The ACC Network produces broadcasts for syndication on over-the-air stations in most ACC markets. Stations airing the syndicated broadcast will be announced at a later date.
Kickoff times and television arrangements for Appalachian’s remaining 10 regular-season games will be set when the Southern Conference finalizes its television package this summer.
