The Hickory Crawdads came back with seven runs late in the game to take an 8-3 win against the Hagerstown Suns before 866 fans at Municipal Stadium.  Hickory has won four in a row and are tied with Hagerstown for first place in the Northern Division.

The Suns (9-4) got on the board first with a pair of tallies against RHP Nick Tepesch in the first frame.  2B Adrian Sanchez singled with one away, before RF Bryce Harper followed with a double.  C David Freitas brought both in with a two-run single, making it 2-0 early on.
The Crawdads (9-4) got on the board against RHP Matt Grace (L, 1-2) in the top of the third.  CF Jake Skole kept the frame going with a two-out triple to center and quickly came home on an RBI single to right field by C Tomas Telis, cutting the deficit to 2-1.
However, Hagerstown pushed the lead right back to two runs in the bottom of the third.  Singles by Harper and Freitas started the frame and were followed by a hit batter, loading the bases with no one out.  After Tepesch struck out Moore and 3B Blake Kelso singled in a run, the 'Dads got out of the jam with a 5-4-3 inning-ending double play, minimizing the damage and only falling behind, 3-1.
The Crawdads got the bats in gear inthe sixth inning, racing back with four runs to take their first lead of the night.  1B Andrew Clark started the rally by getting hit by a pitch and quickly scored on an RBI double by RF Josh Richmond.  Richmond was then brought in on an RBI triple by 2B Odubel Herrera, who scored next on an RBI base hit by 3B Christian Villanueva.  One out later, Villanueva moved to third on a SS Jonathan Roof single, and then darted home on a squeeze bunt laid down by LF Teodoro Martinez, putting Hickory ahead, 5-3.
The 'Dads kept swinging away with three more in the eighth frame.  Villanueva led off with a single, advanced to second on a wild pitch and took third on a one-out single by Roof.  Villanueva then came in on another wild pitch, which also moved Roof to second base, before he took third on a sacrifice bunt.  Skole kept the inning going with a two-out walk and quickly stole second, putting runners on second and third.  Telis struck again, plating both runners with a two-run double to cap the scoring at 8-3.
RHP Colby Killian (W, 2-0) earned the victory with three scoreless relief innings, and RHP Ryan Rodebaugh dealt a pair of scoreless frames to close the 8-3 win for the Crawdads.
