A motorcyclist was hurt in a Shull's Mill Road accident Sunday afternoon.  The accident was just before 3pm as the cyclist hit a patch of gravel spilled out into the road from the recent rains.

Another cyclist was behind the man at the time, and called 9-1-1, reporting the man in and out of consciousness.  The injured cyclist was more coherent when Foscoe first responders and Watauga Medics arrived on the scene, and he was transported to Watauga Medical Center for treatment.
