The Appalachian State University athletic department has announced that Friday's baseball game between the Mountaineers and Samford has been moved to a 3 pm start because of impending weather.

The game was originally scheduled to start at 6 pm at Smith Stadium/Beaver Field. Our coverage of that game begins at 2:40 pm on AM 1450, WATA.
The Mountaineers have won four in a row and seven of their last nine games.
