The Northwestern 3A/4A Conference suffered its second consecutive day of rain outs on Thursday.

The Alexander Centra-Davie County game was called off down in Mocksville. No make up date has been announced yet. And the Hibriten @ West Lincoln baseball game was rained out as well. The Panthers will make up their game with West Lincoln on Wednesday, April 13.
There's three games on the schedule Friday night. South Caldwell, which owns a one-game lead on Watauga and Fred T. Foard for first place, entertains St. Stephens; Fred T. Foard entertains Alexander Central. The Cougars begin the night in a two-way tie for fourth place with Hickory. And both the Courgars and the Red Tornadoes are two games off the lead behind the first-place Spartans. Hibriten entertains Hickory. Ironically, the Panthers only win in league play came against the Red Tornadoes back on March 8.
The Pioneers take on North Davidson Saturday afternoon. Our coverage begins at 2 pm on Oldies 100.7 FM.

NOTES: The St. Stephens-Bunker Hill game that was rained out Wednesday will be made up Monday, April 18......The Fred T. Foard-Newton-Conover game rained out Wednesday will not be made up.
