Watauga High Athletics Director Tom Wright has announced that the WHS softball game at Ashe County and the WHS men's tennis match at Hickory scheduled for Thursday have been rained out.

No make up dates have been announced for the tennis match, but the softball game will not be rescheduled. There's only one game on the schedule Friday. The WHS women's soccer team travels to Avery. WHS baseball is scheduled to entertain North Davidson on Saturday.
If the weather cooperates and they play, our coverage begins at 2 pm on Oldies 100.7 FM. Men's and women's lacrosse travels to Hough on Saturday. The women play at 12 noon; the men play at 2 pm. WHS track travels to Bunker Hill for a varsity meet on Saturday.
