The Watauga High freshman/sophomore meet scheduled for Wednesday at Hibriten High School in Lenior has been rained out.

The meet will not be rescheduled. The WHS track teams travel to Bunker Hill for a meet on Saturday. Also, Sydney Cook of the WHS track team will be our guest Saturday on the Dugout Show as the WHS baseball team entertains North Davidson at Pioneer Field.
Cook, who had her strongest showing of the season in the pole vault with an effort of 11-feet, six inches last Wednesday at St. Stephens, has made a verbal commitment to continue her track career at Appalachian State University next fall.
