Wofford College football coach Mike Ayers is a man that lives by the rules.

And those that refuse to follow those rules are sent packing. Well, since the beginning of February, Ayers has dismissed five players for violating team rules.
Sophomore Jamar Reaves, a starting safety, and classmate Rob Williams, a defensive back, were recently removed from the team and dismissed from the school for "breaking team rules," according to Ayers.
They join three highly-regarded freshmen, quarterbacks Willie Favors and Madison Burr, and defensive back Andrew Gehring. Favors and Gehring were dismissed from school and the team after they were charged with first degree burglary and grand larceny on campus; Burr was dismissed for violating the school's honor code.
The Terriers open the season September 3 at home against Presbyterian College. They travel to Clemson on September 10. Wofford entertains Appalachian State on October 1.
The Terriers were 10-3 last year, and they reached the second-round of the Football Championship Series playoffs before they were elminiated by Southern Conference rival Georgia Southern.
