Watauga County Crimestoppers and Boone Police seek the public’s assistance in solving the following crime:

On March 25, 2011, at 12:52pm the Boone Police Department received a report of a stolen wallet from Wal-Mart. The victim reported that while she was shopping, her wallet was taken from her purse. The suspect was seen on the video surveillance recording from Wal-Mart at 11:35am and was described as a younger adult, white male in his twenty’s with a beard. The suspect was wearing blue jeans, a blue and black jacket and a tan toboggan.
