The Appalachian State-Wake Forest baseball game Tuesday night is set to begin at 6 pm.

The game will be played at L.P. Fran Stadium in Hickory. The gates will open at 5:05 pm, the game begins at 6 pm. ASU students get in for $3; general tickets are $5. The Mountaineers (12-12) are coming off a double-header sweep of Cornell last Friday. The Demon Deacons (8-15) dropped two of three at No.5 Florida State during the weekend.
Tim Cooney threw a six-hit shutout in an 8-0 victory against the Seminoles on Saturday. He struck out 11 men and handed Wake Forest its first win against Florida State in three years.
