The search for a 29-year old Johnson County woman is over, and her reported disappearance may have been a domestic situation. Johnson County Tennessee Sheriff Mike Reece said that Carrie Sue Davis was found this morning and was OK.
Her husband reported the was abducted from highway 67 near Butler as he was returning to their vehicle with gas after running out of fuel on the highway. He said that he heard his wife scream as she was apparently forced into a maroon van that fled in an unknown direction of travel. Now it appears the report was either false or misconstrued, but whether charges might come from that—not yet determined by the Johnson Sheriff’s Office.
